Back From HK!

Hello Pple, I'm back from HK!
This trip sucks because I couldn't find Edison's shop!!!!
I combed the street 3 times. SHIT!
And now I'm down with fever, I hope it's not H1N1, I took the vaccine before I left!
Did not take alot of pictures, did not buy alot of things.
Who says HK is cheap?? Every corner you turn you only see brands and brands.
Maybe the season I went wasn't correct.

I hate iPhone now. Because I can't go online to listen to songs, all because Apple don't allow Flash Player!!

Celebrated Derrick's birthday on thursday.
Ate at aston's prime which I thought was yummy except for the side dishes.
It wad Derrick's treat btw.
Watched the princess and the frog after that.
The story plot was nice but just like Disney's movies, it had alot of sing songs.
Promised another trip out after I return.

Went for manicure session with Georgina yesterday.
I ruined my French nails. Haiz...
Went forever 21 at somerset 313.
Their clothes are dirt cheap
compared to other outlets.
I bought a top with necklace and a skirt with belt for only $52!!
Ate at the hamburger shop.
Their tea smoked duck is yum! And I love their bread!!

Going to wedding dinner later at holiday's inn.

2 freaking days to HK and I haven't pack!!

I bought my iPhone on Sunday!!
Now still at the exploring stage. Haha.

Yesterday has Team Dinner to welcome a new girl.
Ate at the Korean restaurant at Amara Hotel.
The food there is superb but I doubt I'll ever go with my Bosses again.
Haha. They keep forcing people to drink.

Had shopping session on Saturday with Liyan.
Bought a pair of skinny jeans again! LOL.
Bought a ribbon with LY.
I've been clipping it on my hair ever since.

Will go to Manicure Session with Georgina this Sat.
Yeah! Going to HK with pretty nails! =D

Of Family Chalet, HK Trip, iPhone and a New Favourite Song!

Hello.

Went to a chalet over the wkends.
Didn't intend to stay but was persuaded cuz of night KTV.
But in the end didn't sing until very night too.
The whole chalet I was more of like sleeping trip for me.
I'm really tired cuz of Closing the week before.

I'm going HK in 13 days!
Wah. it's like less than 2 weeks from now.
And I haven't even plan!!

I'm getting my iPhone on Sunday.
Yeah, I pre-ordered with Starhub.
But the handset is really expensive since I'm getting the cheapest plan.
The plan cost $38, the handset cost $538.
But with 12GB data plan, you'll see me online 24 hrs.
I'm just hoping my parents will allow me to spend so much money on a phone.

Countdown Period, Georgina's Birthday and OverTime

20 more days to HK!!!
This is getting serious!
And I haven't plan the itinerary yet.

Last Wed celebrated Georgina's 20th Birthday.
I'm marching into 21st already. Haha. Lizhen worst.
They picked me up from work at like 8.30pm and by the time we reached Dempsey Hill, it was about 9+pm.
Got absolutely no idea what to eat.
Sat down at a Jap restaurant but it was ridiculously expensive and all are side dishes.
Cancelled order (very paiseh) and left Dempsey Hill.
Went Clarke Quay next.
Also loitered about until we settled at Tomo Jap restaurant.
The oyster wrapped in bacon strip is heaven!
Oh, I saw the Channel V's producer(?) Andy.

Been working OT these few days.
Even on friday, a public holiday.
Now I feel very dizzy.
I need to stop looking at the computer screen for 7 days.

Of Ups and Downs, and the Old Testament

Ups: Going HK in another 32 Days.
Ups: Interviewing in SIA in another 4 days.
Ups: Going to an all-Korean birthday celebration in 2 days.

Downs: Made a hitch in work and got so nervous. Luckily everything went well.

Oh, I finished the Old Testament, in two days.
Kids version nonetheless.
But I believe that they all conveys the same theories and stories right?
It's just that it's in simpler language and also a few jokes here and there.
Haha.
So I suggest, if you, like me, find the Bible a very long-winded book (of cause it's the best book still, but what if it can be more simpler and brings across the message better?), you can try here!

Of My First Business Dinner, HK Trip and SIA

I had a Dell Training on Wednesday.
It went pretty well, just a training on a new integrated system.
It started at 9.30am at IBP, so I had the privilege of sleeping until 8.20am.
And I can take a cab there!! Haha.
Then we had Japanese lunch at Hong Leong Garden.
Reached office only at about 2pm.
My colleagues finished all my work so I was kinda free.
Till 6pm, me and my nominated colleague had to go dinner with Dell again.
Went to a Korean restaurant at Tanjong Pagar, Amara Hotel.
The meat was so succulent I should bring my friends there next time.
One thing about having dinner with all these adults is that they will drink alot.
OK, I call them adults because I'm like super young there.
They ordered Tiger Beer, Soju, Wine.
And my boss kept asking me to drink because he said that he had never seen an underage drink before.
They call me underage. Haha.
I tried a little bit of Soju because my boss wanted me to try.
Then they ordere the most expensive wine in the restaurant - The Plum Wine with tiny bits of Gold inside.
I feel that it's such a waste to drink it up I kept wanting to bring home and sieve out the gold. Haha.
Then had a little bit of Black Raspberry Wine.
The dinner ended at about 9+pm.
My friend then brought me to a club also inside the Amara Shopping Arcade.
It's a club but it's different too.
All the people who go there are Salsa Dancers.
It's super cool to see everyone dancing Salsa together.
Very little alcohol involved and you don't see people getting drunk.
Everyone is just there to make friends, have fun and dance!!
It's an eye opener to me because I never thought clubbing could be like that too!

Oh, about my application to SIA, I've been called back for an interview.
I'm not sure how it will go, and I'm a little nervous about it.
But then to me, it's more of a like, good if I get in, nothing to lose if I fail too.
I've been telling only very few people about it because I'm qite sure most of them will tell me I cannot make it.
I also don't want like a bunch of people asking me the results too, imagine if I fail.
Many people told me they think I will pass too, I hope they really mean it.
Because most of them seemed to give me the reason that they have seen not very pretty air stewardess too.
I don't think it really helps at all.
I'll update again. Haha.

Anyway, 37 more days to HK!!!!

Of University Application and Job Application

I've just applied to SMU.

I've just applied to SIA too.

I'm in a dilemma. LOL.

Anyway, wish me luck.... for both!

Of Busy Weekends!

Last weekend was swimming at Bukit Batok CSC.
So fun swimming with all my young cousins!!
Brandon lent me his goggles.
It's super small and water kept coming in.
LOL. But he was so kind!

This weekend I'll be spending it in the office.
Haiz. Closing ends coincidentally on weekend.
I have to go back to work on Saturday and Sunday!!
WTF

My probation ends this coming Tuesday! =D

Of Haircut, Team Building and Body Odour!

I had a haircut!
Bangs again!
This is the last time I'm cutting this hairstyle, getting tired le.
Not that Kenji cut badly, he always cut nicely.
Haha, just that I needed a change.

I'm having team building next month.
The activity is paintball!
OMG!! Actually I love paintball alot.
But when given with a choice over paintball and prawn fishing, I chose the second one.
Why? Because I played paintball before.
So what am I scared of?
Because that time when I play paintball, I got out in 5 mins.
I didn't even fire one shot, which was super waste of money.
Yeah, I was the lousiest. Cuz my hiding skills, no words can describe it. LOL.
I decided I don't want to paiseh again, so I went for prawn fishing.
But paintball won hands down.
Oh well, I'll just have another round of humiliation.
This time I die die must anyhow finish shooting all my bullets before I go out.
Because they don't allow you to shoot once you get out.
WTH! I even beg my colleagues to let me shoot finish before they shoot me.

Then my boss forwarded us the soft opening of Sentosa Resorts World with the message "Team Building for next year!"
This one I agree. Haha.

Today I sat beside a guy with very bad BO.
It's like the sweat smell type.
I tried very hard to cover up that I'm suffocating.
I even tried to find excuses that it's not him.
Then when he wants to alight, he said "excuse me"
That's when I know it's definitely him, why, cuz he got very bad bad breath.

Although he was very polite, but I still think that it's avery basic courtesy to smell pleasant.
I really wonder, is a bottle of cologne really that hard to buy?
If not, 花露水 also can.
Seriously, super glue also smell better.

Of Edwin and LY's Birthday, and my first time clubbing!

Hello, I'm back!!!

First about Edwin's Brithday on 4 October 2009
We celebrated at Cineleisure's KBOX.
His dare was to blow the condom till it burst.
The buffet spread was really nice!

Then yesterday was LY's bdae celebration.
We all gathered at Watami @ Central.
LY big shot, late for an hour.
I could not recognise Deon with his hairless head.
Then we went to Zirca for some virgin clubbing experience.
Anyway, I thought $15 for entrance plus 2 drinks was quite cheap.
Sat right under the air con and base cause we didn't open bottle.
Until Shazzman came and he brought us into another area for the youths.
Wow, really opened up our eyes.
Haha. Shazzman opened a bottle so we got seats.
He really hiong.
I think I down 5-6 cups in an hour.
Went home at around 11.30pm. I got curfew.
Hehe. I couldn't walk in a straight line le.
And my head was dizzy until I felt like vomitting.
But I still got my senses. I know what I'm doing.
This time I think I drank more than I drank at LZ's mother's pub.
But luckily I didn't sit on the floor and laugh. HAHA.
Wait till Hari Raya, let's go again!

Of Genting!

Ok. This is the full post of Genting.

Truthfully, I'm a bit lazy to post everything up. LOL.

OK. So on the early morning of 19th XT came to pick me up and we went to her house first.
Played abit with her dog Lucky.
OMG i keept mixing up Lucky with Lively.
Lucky is XT's dog, Lively is LZ's dog.
Next time I shall call my dog French Fries and Hashbrown.
So that nobody will mix them up with other dogs.
Anyway, Lucky was so excited to see me!
She kept shaking her tail but it looks abit creepy cuz it looks like a rodent's tail.
Haha. I kept asking XT to stop her dog from waggling her tail.
Then we proceeded to Edwin's house.
And I found him watching drama on the internet and crying.WAH KAO!!

So after some arguing, all 3 girls nominated me to sit in his cousin's car with Edwin.
WAH LIAO y am I always left out??
So I slept most of the way there, cause Edwin was sitting in the front passenger seat and I've got nobody to talk to.
Both cars were driving at almost 160KM/HR.
Stopped at a rest stop and get something to fill our stomach.
Saw this stall which sells cup corns.


See what's so special? They have different flavours! Margarine & Salt, Sweetened Milk, Mayo, Lemon Pepper, Thai Chilli, Chilli, BBQ!


Thinking what to buy. Haha.


It has all kinds of flavours!!! Raisin, Garlic Cheese (this is interesting), Fancy Mayo.

Sadly we were there too early, so the corns were not ready yet.


Saw this really cute cupcake in one of the stalls.

Continued driving and we reach Genting at about 10am.
Me and Edwin have no phone so we could not contact his parents.
We can only wait at the carpark lobby.
While waiting, we tried to argue and see who will come and help us. LOL.
Asked the security guard for a pay phone and he don't know what is that.
Until he pointed out a public phone, then Edwin scolded me for sayinh pay phone.
Then we walked to the pay phone and Edwin don't have coins.
Awhile later, we reunite with his parents and the three girls.
Waited for Edwin to check in.





Edwin look super like his father.
Even the standing position, wearing. LOL.
One thing he didn't inherit is man-ness.

After settling into our hotel room which is damn small and old, we went to explore Genting.
We tried to sneak into the casino.
Actually not sneak lah, cuz the reception told us age limit was 18 yrs old.
But when we tried to go in, the guard told us 21.
We were hungry, so after walking awhile and realised everything's super expensive, we settled for coffeebean meal which is around the same price as SG.
The smoked salmon is not nice!!


Then we walked around First World Plaza and and and.. We saw a Gorilla dancing to Michael Jackson's songs!!!
It was really funny cause a gorilla was trying to imitate Michael Jackson!
It was so funny cause it was trying to do all the MJ moves!





Then we continued exploring, shopping.






Then Edwin started dragging us out of shops cuz he had enough of our shopping.
Decided to go to Genting Highlands Hotel to check out the KTV.




Then we saw the very foggy outside and went out to experience the coldness.
















I have a feeling they kept trying to make me and Edwin get together.
















Then we started making videos of Sorry Sorry on the road.
Haha. It's super funny.
Will post it up here when I got the time.





Then I brought them to eat Baskin Robbins ice cream.





It was really nice.
We sat by the gondola river and eat and wave to people sitting on the gondola.



Then Edwin's parents brought us to Mushroom Farm to have dinner.
We had Bak Kut Teh, Pig Trotters, Cod Fish, Bacons. Yum!
Then Yan Qing found out that she had leaked onto her jeans.
So we decided to wrap her up.


Then we took photos with the mummy.









Then while waiting for transportation to take us back to hotel, I did an impromptu funny face.
Then we decided to take the ugly faces of everyone.







At night, we wanted to go clubbing cause there was some very sexy dancers performing on Sat night, but it only starts at around 1am.
We couldn't fight the tireness.
Went back to hotel and gamble instead. Haha.

(Have to finish it fast. Everyone is pressurizing me for the photos! And I can't seem to be able to send them via MSN.)
2nd Day:
Woke up by alarm. But decided to stay in bed.
Went to eat breakfast at Marrybrown.
They kept rushing me.
In the end, I didn't manage to finish my porridge.
Followed Edwin's direction to go to the entrance of the themepark to buy tickets.
Was freezing cold when we could have queued in First World warmly.
So we 4 girls stood freezing waiting for Edwin to get the tickets.
Finally we got in.
Took the Flying Chairs first.





Took the Toboggan next.
Freezing Cold!!!
We 4 girls: Edwin, don't play lah. Nothing fun one. We take before le.
Edwin: Aiyah, go up very luxurious one.
Me: How luxurious?
E: Got people ask you coffee or tea.
Me: Really arh?
E: Yah, still can take a bubble bath.
Me: Wah, you better make sure go up really got all these things.
E: Then you must start stripping on your way up.
Me: -_-"



He always act take photo for us. Then after that ask us to take photo for him.
Then when nobody take with me, he will always drag the nearest one.






Then we proceed to take Corkscrew.
Forced XT up with us.
The queue was always freezing cold!





Then LY wan to challenge the Spaceshot but none of us dare to take.
In the end, XT volunteered.





They thought taking photo with the ride means riding it before.

The queue was super long.
So YQ, Edwin and me went to Dinosaurland to walk walk.



The dinosuar gave me a scare when I look at it face to face.







Then we came to a stop where there was a parrot that can say "Hello!"
We were watching and I saw the sign "No camera"
Me: Eh, Edwin, faster take video leh.
Edwin: OKOK
Girl: Sorry, no camera.
Edwin: (very paiseh) Oh Sorry sorry.
Me: Yah lah, already got a sign tell you no camera le.
Edwin: -_-"

So we watched XT n LY take the Spaceshot.





Then I brought them to take the Mine Train.
Oh, I forgot to say.
I kept shouting on all the rides.
Things like "Ma ah!!" "I don't wan to play already" "I want to go home!!"
Of course is fake one, but it really brings up the atmosphere.
People were shouting in reply to my scream.
Everyone was laughing until nobody shout and I'm the only one like crazy.
But I like leh.


Then we were hungry, so decided to go get Sushi King.
The waiter there was so funny.
He kept smiling and grinning to himself when he serves.
In the end, LY cannot stand it anymore and ask him "You very happy is it?"
And he said yes, cuz Hari Raya. LOLOL!
But it was cheap!!! And nice!!! Salmon Belly!!!

Then we walked pass a wall mural and saw this father taking photo for his daughter.
So we decided to take one too.




We decided to return to First World.
On the escalator.



Me: Let's take a photo.

Me: Not nice. Let's take a funny photo.

Me: Not nice. Let's take a beautiful photo.

Edwin: Orh hoh, you say YQ not beautiful.
Me: Let's take again. A beautiful photo.

Walked around First World and I saw this!!!


I have to die die take a photo with him. POCONG!!!!!!

Then we entered the outdoor theme park again.
On the way to the Pirate Ship.














They tried to squeeze me into a row for 4 people telling me nevermind de.
Then kenna asked to go another seat by the operator.
Haha. And our ride was so quiet until I cannot tahan.
So I started anyhow scream.
Then after I scream, everyone high le.
Even the indians in front of us started pointing middle fingers.
I think they have no idea what it means cause they were asking their kids to point too.

Then we wanted to take the Corkscrew again but XT backed out.
She took some artistic photos while we queued.

Then we decided to play the carnival games.
And so lucky, LY got a prize!












We didnt want to bring the bear back, so we decided to give it to a little girl who has been watching people play for very long.

Then we went into a chocolate house.


I don't know why XT ask me to do these poses. HAHA.

Before we decided to really leave outdoor theme park, we took a ride on the carousel.


















Loitered about and went KTV in the end.
Inclusive of a meal, not bad!
The room is big, but the system kept screwing up.










We were very lucky cuz it was Hari Raya and there was a massive display of fireworks!

Then we da bao pizza back to the hotel to eat.
It was so funny cause we can see the chef prepare the pizza.
So I knocked on the glass and was pretty sure he was making ur pizza at that moment.
I mouthed "That's mine, more cheese please"
And he really gave us alot of cheese!
Then there was a loud roar cuz obviously some soccer team striked a goal and those soccer fans were happy. HAHA.
Then we lined up and bow and mouthed "Thank you!" to the chef.
Haha, communication is actually very easy if you put some effort in.


Back to the room, well, the pizza turned out so-so.
XT said that maybe only a certain flavour taste nice.
Cause she ate before, and my mother also recommend.
But we were unlucky lah. Haha.

Then in the room we played cards.
And I end up having to sit in Edwin's cousin's car again.
I decided to be sly abit and cry.
Haha. It works!

Then we went down and sneaked into the casino.
Watched the roulette table and we tried guessing.
I was wrong the whole time.
After about 5 turns, I realised it was really a very bo liao game.
I hate games that doesn't use ur brain.

Went to clubbing at around 12am.
Went in and immediately the security guard knew that we are not frequent clubbers.
He even said "Welcome to Genting" to us. LOL.
But what was really nice is that he would come over and check out our side once in a while to ensure nothing goes wrong for us.
It was so obvious who was there to club and who came just for fun.
All the people dressed up while we wear our gears to themepark with a cardigan on.
We were so conservative compared to them.
Saw girls getting drunk and getting all intimate with guys.
We don't even know where to get drinks. Super noob.
In the end I got myself a magarita.
The alcohol level is super high.
I can feel the heat in my stomach in the first sip.
And after about 3 or 4 sips, I start feeling dizzy le.
And then LY dragged us all out to dance.
It was fun. I never thought I would dance this way.
I think LY really brought out the wild side of me.
Haha. She told me "I think you actually want to dance de, just that don't dare."
She's damn right man!
Went back at around 3am.
Overall thoughts of clubbing, I actually quite like it.
I like the way everybody come together and have fun, dance to the same songs.
The downside of Genting club was actually the smoky environment.
They are allowed to smoke inside.
So we went out smelling like cigarette pot.
Went back and bathed and sleep.

Next morning around 10am, received a call and said that we are checking out early to avoid the traffic jam at the customs.
Very sudden news. Haha. Can only pack and say bye bye to Genting.
