My Angels

Few days ago I quarrelled with Brandon "Cream Monster" Koh.
Note: He loves using our body cream, and he uses more than us.



YES, u heard me right!
I, an auntie where my nephews can just call me "Seow Hui", and climb over my head, and steal my food, quarrelled with my nephew.

It started with I showing my cousins Yoo Geun dancing "Ring Ding Dong".
I kept saying that he is very cute and handsome.
And Brandon got so angry that he went out crying, saying that he don't like the little boy, saying that I kept saying the other boy very handsome.




Finding it very funny, I proceeded to ask him "Eh, are you going to marry me next time? If not, why can't I like other boys?"

He looked so angry he wanted to hit me.



Then he asked me to "GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!!"

This angered me.
I can stand their nonsense, I can let them play me anyhow they want, but I can't stand disrespect.
We went into a cold war for the next few days.

Until one day when I came home from work, I still wasn't talking to him.
And I ask my sis not to talk to him too.
My sis and my auntie started explaining to him what I was angry about.
Funny thing is, everyone thought I was angry over his jealousy, but in actual fact, I;m angry that he does not respect me.
Then they proceeded to ask him to apologise to me, kneeling in front of me and stuffs.
He apologised insincerely, then suddenly just burst out crying saying that he don't want to say sorry.
Wah liao, I almost cried too.
It's very hard to be angry with them one OK.
But to show them that it's wrong, I have to.
In the end I explained to him, and we patched up.

So now we are good again.

Next is our dear Damien "What are you doing" Koh.
Note: He is always being a monster but when my auntie shouted at him "DAMIEN KOH, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!!", he will go "OK" and sit down like a very nice child.

One day, he saw me eating Kinder Bueno.

Damien: What is that?(He loves asking this question, which also means "I want to eat")
Me: Chocolate
D: Who buy one? Huh? I buy one leh.
M: Who says? Is Seow Ting buy one hoh.
D: Is Gu Po buy for me one leh. She tells me I can take and go home one leh.
M: ...
D: Who say you can eat?
M: ...
D: You.. You.. You Diamond Pig!

And he left the room.
I don't know to laugh or cry.
That night, my sis was eating Kinder Bueno too.
The same conversation was repeated.


Is this how a diamond pig looks like? But it's not diamond leh..

Oh OH..
Because Di Di haven't learn to control his business without the aid of a pamper, thus, his father punished him by letting him wear pampers without shorts in the morning.

One day, I look at his butt and I thought he lao sai and leaked.


This birthmark on his upper thigh looks like sai loh!

And then one day I came home with a shopping bag and he was so interested he look like he wanted to climb into the bag.



Anyway, one day he asked his mother where Mao Mao came from.
His mother answered him that she bought it.
Then he asked her where he came from.
And she started the usual story that mothers always tell their children - that he was picked up from the rubbish bin.
And he got very sad that he was picked up from the rubbish bin and he even said that nobody loved him.

Then my sister started calling him Dustbin Baby.
Funny thing is, he is angry not about the dustbin part, but the baby part.
He kept telling her he is not a baby.

Anyway, they like to use my phone to take pics.

Cayenne Pepper Diet, Cheap Cruise Tour, and Ramblings

Anyway, the purpose of this trip is not the competition.
It's the short getaway, albeit a cheap one.
And hopefully I can get like the 1st winner and wins $2888!!
Aiyah, at least consolation of $188 lah.
This way, I won a free cruise trip, and $68 cash leh!!!!

Just now when I was about to bathe, I went into the bathroom and came out..

Me: Your underwear!! (He left his dirty underwear on top of the WC.)

Father: What kind of daughter is this?

I finished bathing and came out..

Me: Pa Pa, 帮我开modem.
Father: 我才不要，你不可以帮我拿underwear, 我为什么要帮你开modem?
Me: Modem 又不是我的BRAAAA~~~
Father: ...

I think my father seriously cannot stand me anymore..

I thought I could use my Taka vouchers to get YSL Touche Eclat.
Went to Taka only to get told by the one of the counters that YSL has pulled out from Singapore.
I can only get YSL at DFS store which is at Changi and Galleria@Scotts Road.
The thing is I don't want to use my money.
FML.

April Fool's, SIM and Ramblings

On April Fool's Day, I got tricked by XT!!!
I felt so stupid for getting tricked.
I was still planning of tricks to play on her and my colleagues the night before, and I totally forgot about it the next day.
She tricked me that her company's project got into trouble with Singapore's law and the police were dealing with it.
She even had to make a trip down to the police station.
I was so worried that I asked her to consider quitting once this whole matter is resolved.
Tried to trick my boss, but he was in such a good mood that he didn't respond as what we wanted.
Damn, my April Fool's passed like that.

But I wasn't going to just let it go.
I waited a few days before I tricked her back, so that she would fall into my trap easily.
Once she got online, I screamed at her and told her I got a good news and a bad news to share.
She chose the good news.
I told her that I sent a resume to CLOT, asking for a position if they ever expand into Singapore.
Then Edison replied and say they will be opening a shop in Singapore soon.
To make it more convincing, when she asked me what he signed off as, I told her "Alien" and that I saw at his blog, he was calling himself an alien.
What surprised me was she was so unconcerned about it.
She just went "Congratulations! OK, what's the bad news?"
And I chided her for being so unconcerned, then told her the bad news.
I bought the deodorant which is on advertisement nowadays for whitening armpits.
And I've been using it for about a week, and my armpits have two white patches.
She laughed and I asked her why she was so unconcerned that Edison replied me?
I asked her so how should I reply to his email.
She asked me to forward her the email and she will help me think of a reply.
I think I'm really brilliant because I told her I've forwarded already, when I didn't, trying to make it sound like it was Hotmail's fault.
In the end, I forward her for real this time with the title as "FWD: Job Application" and content as "Stupid! Happy April's Fool!!"
I even added in the "FWD" myself. Haha.
The armpit issue was also a joke, I've only used it once. LOL.
I felt super shiok after I managed to trick her.

Today I went for SIM application to UOL.
In the end, we found out we had to get a set of documents verified by SP for the bridging courses.
Me and LY were shocked.
The documents contained SP's logo. isn't that enough??
They said it was UOL's requirement for bridging courses.
In the end, I had to take urgent leave on Monday to settle everything. Haiz.
So troublesome!

Played mahjong with my family.
Won lots of money.
Watched Sniper on TV.
Woo-hoo!! ECGX and his half naked body!!!
I realised I always lost when I use ECGX as my lucky charm.
And I won big money when I stop using him.
Think because I concentrate on him too much.

I told my family that I hope I can find a group of friends in SIM who can go overseas holidays with me.
Not blaming my group of friends now, but I'm kind of tired of always waiting, I can never get anything done.

Things finally brightens up!

Just when I received so many bad news in a day,
I watched the TW variety show and came across this theme "大學生了沒 2010-03-26 陳冠希 教主現身! 非學不可? 我們混的就是潮?"
And I was thinking: Edison? On TV again?
So I went to load it into 5 parts.
And while I was pausing the 5 parts, I didn't see Edison at all.
So I thought it's a hoax.
Then I started watching, and OMG!!!!!
He is back in the entertainment circle again!!!!
I am super duper ultra happy now.
Who cares about complicated customers?
Who cares about Korea trip?

Two Blows in a Single Day

Today, I received news that I'll be handling a complicated customer.
Today, I received news that I could have gone on an all-paid "Business" trip to Korea.
Today, I received news that I cannot go because I'm quitting soon.

Super Angry

I'm super angry at SIM.
I applied for UOL and UOB.
UOL offered me first and deadline to accept is on 14th this month.
I called up to ask about my applications for UOB.
They tell me UOB only start offering one month before the course starts, which means around July, since their application period has not ended.
Then I told them about my situation.
They ask me to make the decision myself.
WTH!!!

It's like either I accept UOL and reject give up UOB, or rejects UOL and hopefully UOB will accept me.
If I take the second path and UOB didn't accept me, I'm dead.
This is so unfair!!!
I should have wait for UOL rejection letter before i apply for UOB.

SIM Offer!!

I got an offer from UOL!!
Super happy!!
I'm always scared that the reason why I didn't got in last year was because of my lousy results, even though I've been telling people that it must be because I applied late.
Now that I got the offer, it proves that my results are not that bad.
Haha.
But I'm still waiting for the offer from UOB.
Banking & Finance, and Business Management, I still prefer Business Management.

The video was posted online and the hits were so high that she got to meet Justin!!

Weird Stuffs

Went out with LY today.
Nothing much to say about our shopping trip.
But we saw weird things on the way.

At Taka's Zara, there's these auntie and lady, I think cuz the fitting room queue is too long, they took off their clothes in the public and just wear the Zara's clothes over!!!
I'm not exaggerating!!! They were only left with their bras!!!
I wonder if this is OK with Singapore's law.

There this very tall guy who wore tight clothes n tight shorts, heels and held a balloon cruising down Orchard Road!!!
Everyone kept turning their heads to take a closer look at him and kept laughing!!

21st Bdae Celebration

The actual day started with work.
Then ate Pizza Hut together as a company.

Seriously I didn't expect a birthday cake.
When the Birthday Song came on, I was still wondering who in the cafe shares the same birthday as me.
Haha, it was a sweet surprise!

At night, met GE and LZ at Esplanade's 7ate9.
These 2 girls, told the waiter my name.
Thought nothing will happen as we spent quite a long time there.
Then the woman singing on stage called me up with my Magarita in hand.
Thought to be a simple toast as they asked my age.
But in the end I had to down the whole glass as they sing a Happy Birthday song to me!
Indeed very memorable!




20th:
Prepared for the celebration at night.
Quite alot turned up luckily. Haha.
Imagine if I invited and none turned up.
OMG! I really need to expand my social circle!
The poly mates put fake millipedes and dares to do inside balloons.
I had to dance Sorry Sorry in front of everyone, family, friends and strangers!
I find entertaining really tired.
And And!! Chocolate cakes are meant to be eaten, not to cause pimples on my face!!

It's my 21st birthday today.
I'm officially an adult.
I didn't expect this day to come so fast.

I always have only 3 wishes, but for this time, I'm abit greedy, I want 4 wishes.

1st: I've already wished it this morning. That is that my father will quarrely less with me.
2nd: All my love ones will be healthy and happy!
3rd: Find a BF!
4th: Meet ECGX!

My wishes damn simple right? Haha.

Claire's Farewell Party

On Friday, we had farewell party for Claire.
It was Oscar's at Conrad Hotel with Big Boss and Manager.
Super full, but not really much difference from other buffets.
I feel it's overrated.

After work, went to Long Beach @ Dempsey Hill.
Didn't eat much because Oscar's haven't digest finish.
LOL.
Head over to Oosh for chill out.
Played games, took photos.
Returned home at about 1+am.
Really not a nocturnal person, or maybe didn't sleep well.
I got so easily tired at around 12am.

Of Meet-Ups and Penang

Met up with Georgina and LZ last Thursday.
Ate Shokudo for dinner.
Their Hotate Mentai Cheese Pizza is YUM!!
Georgina gave us her Project LOVE - a polaroid photo of us and a self-made rose.
I swear both of us stuck it in our bag.
But when we were going home, both of us lost the flower!!!
We went shopping in Bugis Village.
Had no mood to shop at first. I was very indecisive about buying things.
Then suddenly, at the last half an hour, the mood just came and I bought a skirt, a top, a bf shirt, and a shorts for $58.
But the shorts were too big. I bought L somemore. Shit! I'm getting fat.

Went Penang on Friday.
Got to the Budget Terminal, really budget loh.
Took the flight to Penang and met up with my auntie.
Went to pick up my cousin and had brunch at Gurney Plaza's Manila Place.
Their food is not bad.
Went to the salon and I cut my hair off.
My head suddenly feels lighter!
Then we went to Tambun where we had seafood!
Then to AutoCity where we just sat at Starbucks and chill and talk.

The next day we ate breakfast and went to QueensBay Mall where sadly I can't find anything to buy.
Then we just sat in the salon and waited till my auntie finish her work.
Then we went to have dinner and chill at Starbucks again.
The next morning woke up very early to catch the flight.
Only to know that it has been delayed.
Sat at the salon and sleep. LOL.
And also watch my cousin perform.

Yesterday met up with Amanda and Yuting.
We has Sushi Tei for dinner and MOF for dessert.
Talked alot and like updating each other about everyone in our class.
Found out shocking news. OMG!

Today I was sick with food poisoning.
Yeah! two whole days without work!!

M'sia Trip, Brandon's 5th Bdae, Haircut

Went M'sia on the first wkend of CNY.
Woke up very early on Saturday and took CW3 to Johore.
My uncle picked us up and sent us a restaurant for some Dim Sum for breakfast.
Their 腐皮海鲜卷 is super nice!!!!

Then we went to Jusco for some shopping.
Did not find anything I like.
But I saw Etude House, and because I am always reading forums, I get to know that M'sia's Etude House is the cheapest, so I bought the Foundation with Collagen Balm.
LY bought it for $47.90 in Sg, I bought it for less than $30 in M'sia. Shiok!
Then we went our auntie's house to pass the time.
Until evening came, where all of us gathered at a roadside stall for some feast.
There's Yu Sheng, Crab, Chicken Wings, Sotong etc..

Then went to another auntie's house.
At night, they brought us to a newly opened pub.
Drank, sing, played pool.
The next morning woke up early to go back to SG.

Last Sat was Brandon's 5th Bdae Celebration.
Went over to his house.
Bought him tunafish as present since he asked for it. LOL.
Ate steamboat, played Pinata. blew Birthday Cake.
LOL.

I want to cut my hair short.
Like:

I'm going JB tomorrow.
Which also means I need to wake up like damn early in order to avoid jams.
When I was young, I never liked JB.
My impression is fierce aunties, ah beng and ah lian cousins, lousy roads, unclean shops.
But now that I've grown up, I realised that my aunties are not really fierce. I can even joke with them now.
My cousins are not ah beng and ah lian, just that there is a different culture.
Roads are cleaner now, and I've learnt that good food are always hidden in those dirty shops. LOL.
I want to eat seafood and Sashimi!!

Woo-hoo!! I have never been to budget terminal!!

CNY 2010!!!

Hello pple!!! How's ur New Year??

Anyway, mine was pretty much the same every year.
Got an early release from work on Friday which came as a huge surprise!!
Then went to IMM to meet my family where I told my parents how I felt about the way they described us.
Bought a top from Fox and two spag top from COtton On.

Fast forward, omg! I kept losing wheneverI gamble.
Really suay this year.
Tomorrow must go Bai Bai.

This morning, Deon, YQ, LY, Edwin came to my house.
We had steamboat, mahjonged and YQ is really super blur!!!
Then we proceeded to XT's house for more mahjong. Haha.
I lost again, like $11.
Luckily, we just offset it with $1.

I was supposed to attend 4E2's gathering.
But decided not to because later I haerd that they are inviting people from other classes too.
And also, I felt that all they will talk about is Army, Uni, and JC.
And also, I'm not those type to find topics and talk to people.
Especially since we haven't met for so long and they felt like strangers to me already.
At least I can make a fool of myself and not feel embarassed, and still laugh alone when I'm with my usual clique.

Anyway, back to working life tomorrow.

A Rich Friend's Departure, Another Rich Friend Found!!

This morning woke up super early to send Naidi back to Indonesia.
Reached airport, I was so hungry I finished the 3/4 leftover La Mian from Deon.
Sent him off finally, super sad, that means I won't have treats anymore..
But all of us bet he cannot survive and will be back within a year. Haha.

Then ate Coffeebean with LY, XT, YQ, WH and DE.
Talked alot and laughed alot.

Then went Orchard.
I want to find my nude pumps but a failed attempt again.
In the end, I only bought 2 very cute shirts from Brandon and Damien and a shirt for their maid for helping me with my chores. Haha.
The one who got the biggest reward is Deon.
He bought 2 jeans from G Star Raw for $700.
Then some shirts and a pair of shoes from LeftFoot.
I think he spent 1K on CNY clothes.
I think I found my next substitute rich friend to replace Naidi. LOL.

Edited: Oh, did I mentioned that we met Alan Lek in FEP?
We were going up the escalator when I turned back and briefly looked.
I saw this very big size guy in black blocking the whole escalator with one hand on each side.
Then I turned back front and suddenly, I turned back again and looked at him.
Then I reaslised is Alan Lek. Haha.
And I went "EHHHH????"
And YQ and Deon proceeded to "EHHH???" with me. Haha.

Irritating Admirer, Chronological

There's this guy who stays at my neighbourhood and works at the same area as me.
I always saw him on the bus.
I thought he was really nice as he will let girls board the bus first.
Recently, I start getting really irritated by him.
He will sit next to me no matter how many seats there are on the bus.
I even caught him finding me when I board a different bus from him.
I didn't voice it out for so long because I am afraid that I might be thinking too much.
Last Thursday, he came up and talk to me.
He asked where I'm working and I told him.
Guess what, he says his company is moving and one of the location they are considering is the office opposite mine.
OMG!!!
I kept rolling my eys while he talk.
Then he asked if I can have lunch with him, I just smiled and rejected.
Until now, I havent't see him yet. THANKFULLY!!

I always have people asking me what is the meaning of chronologically.
And I always have to explain to them.
I find it very weird because I think this word is actually very easy to understand.

WH's Bdae and Dinner with Georgina!!

23rd Jan 2010.
We celebrated WH's bdae.
Gathered at Paya Lebar MRT Station.
Took 135 and Danial made us stop at Parkway Parade and walk all the way to Burger King at ECP!!!!
Found the prawning place and started prawning.
I got one in less than 5 mins.
Gradually everyone started to get their prawns.
Except for Gonaidi, his luck was so down!!!!!
I think he only caught his pathetics 2 baby prawns at the last hour, whereas we all have at least 4. Haha.
Our final result: 5 rods, 29 prawns, in 3 hours. This cost $150. LOL
It's the process that's fun lah.
BBQ-ed the prawns and celebrated WH's bdae too.
The prawns were not very nice lah.
Bought our own food and sat on the beach and just chat and play.
Played sparklers, light sticks, indian poker, alcohol!!
I hope he had a memorable day!!

Met Georgina for dinner.
Was waiting at the bus stop to go Orchard when this group of Japanese students came up to us and ask how to go to the Flyer.
It's quite hard to direct them too so we thought, since we have no idea what to eat, let's just go to Flyer and have Popeye!
So we brought them there.
WTH!!! There's 2 Jap guys that's super handsome!!!
Wahahaha. One of them gave us his name card.
I'm going to contact them lah.
Make friends and maybe they can be our tour guide when we visit Japan!!

Me and my cousin are planning for a Japan tour.

Verses That Speak

On the way to work today, these 2 Verses Numbers just popped up in my head.
I went to check them out online, and these are what they say.

Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called "uncircumcised" by those who call themselves "the circumcision" (that done in the body by the hands of men)—remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. -Ephesians 2:11-13

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. - Matthew 6:33

I know Matthew 6:33 is like a very common verse, but the Ephesians verses came as a surprise to me. I was brought back!.

I'm getting very religious recently. Don't mine me. I got a few things to sort out.

2nd Church Service

Just some thoughts about today's service.

My 2nd service since a long time.
I have no intention of joining a cell group this time.
But because I went with a friend who belongs to a cell group, naturally, the leader will ask if I want to join too.
So when I said no, of course the leader will start asking me the reason etc.
I'm not saying the leader is doing something wrong.
She mentioned to me that last wk's service, pastor was calling for a person who had strayed away from God for a long time and is back finally.
She feels that it is me, and I feel that way too, but I didn't mention anything.
She ask me for the reason why I strayed. I told her because of the location of the church.
Today, she told me she feels it's not the sole reason, and she wish I can talk to her.
But I only told her nothing.
How can I tell her that the reason I pondered for so long before returning is because I don't like the attention church people showers on newcomers.
I don't like the way they come all onto me like, hey let's go cell group, hey let's go for encounters, let's go for retreats.
It's like woah, slow down.
I have just returned and I'm still trying to find the connection.
Be slow with me, I'm not a person who can adapt into a place so quickly, especially with all of them being strangers to me.
You can pray for me, you can do debriefs, but for further steps, I really need time.

Today's topic was to step out in faith.
I agree that it's no use if you attend services regularly but do not dare to take the first step out to do what God wants you to do.
I don't know what will happen next too, but at this moment in time, I just don't feel comfortable in a church yet. I still need to adapt.
I may attend cell group, I don;t know when, maybe next week, I never know. But I can't be sure for now yet.
To me, from my past experiences, cell groups are like smaller services.
I know when people worship in smaller groups, the presence of God will be like sronger, I'll get to know God better, but now, when I still don't know anybody, a cell group is just like a service where I don't know anyone but just trying hard to fit in.
I may be talking rubbish because I don't know how to express that feeling inside of me towards joining a cell group.

I had a struggle just now on the way home.
So many thoughts poured through my mind.
I need time to settle these thoughts.

Also, I met my ex-cell group leader just now.
And she told me that my old friend was also at service just now.
Originally, I thought she will be really excited to see me.
She did exclaimed, but I don't feel excitement in her.
I don;t know, maybe the dispersal of our cell group really hurt her last time.
I called my old friend, thinking that I can have company and adapting will be easier.
I was so excited when I called her when I heard that she is looking for a church now.
But her answer was.. hmm.. Maybe she don't want to attend with me I guess.
PS: Latest update, she msged me after reading my blog. I realised she also have the same views as me, not that she don't want to attend with me. Phew! Good, now we can both reject pple together. wahahah!

I really have difficulties making decision now.
I want to go church.
If I go with my old company, she won't be permanently staying in this location.
If I go with my ex-cell group leader, she's in a location that I'm not willing to go.
If I go with my friend, I'm really stressed out when they ask me about joining cell group.
I just want to go there and worship, I really wonder if God's plan is to let me stay in this church.

I went back to FCBC today.
I feel God's presence really strongly.
I've been wanting to go back, and now FCBC is back to Bukit Merah.
I feel that this must be God's plan.
I hope that I will not stray anymore.

Fishing@Bedok Jetty

Yesterday I went Bedok Jetty to fish.
I suspect there's no fishes there at all.
No, there's fishes, but cunning fishes.
My baits kept getting eaten but I caught none.

In the end, gave up and went to eat BBQ seafood!!!!!

Summary of HK Trip


This song is really nice, heard it from another blog.

Venetian Hotel is awesome!
The only hotel that I know that provides bolsters.
OMG! A bolster surpasses fruit baskets and VIP treatment.
Venetian is so over-developed that you see lots and lots of 5* hotels that lights up with neon lights at night.
Even Hyatt, sucha graceful hotel, uses neon lights to attract business.
Cotai Strip is over crowded with hotel, don't see much local housings there.
Macau Island is also crowded with hotel, but the housings there looks so poor.
St Paul ruins were a disappointment.
From pictures it looks so great and mighty, like a statue standing in a big piece of land.
But in actual fact, it is quite small squeezed between shophouses and lots of trees.

HK pple are always in a rush, and their MTR is full at any point of time.
It's rare you get seats.
They love climbing stairs or so it seems because alot of places requires climbing.
Their tram is cool, you get to squeeze with HK pple.
Symphony of light can be missed, I don't know what it's trying to do.
I can only say if you are in HK, you'll feel pressurized to worship brands.
You can eat authentic HK food from the Wan Chai in Singapore.
The Peak, it's all about the tram experience, the view up isn't very nice too, maybe because I went in the day.
Citygates, Esprit outlets, Women Street, Argyle Centre all doesn't seem cheap to me.
They may have lots of discount, but the price after that is still high.

I know I keep grumbling about HK, I guess if I had found Juice, this trip wouldn't have been so bad yet.
